Its been a while since I have posted and I have committed to myself to post more frequently.
A lot has happened and first I need to catch you up. My daughter who was the topic of the first post is now in her senior year. It seems like just yesterday that i wrote the first posing here in 2009. Since then we have moved her in and out of college numerous times and yet none feel the way the first one did. My baby girl is no longer a baby, at least to the outside world. To me she will always my little girl.
She has studied abroad, she has interned for jobs and now is on the verge of beginning her post college years.. As much as I want to protect her from everything, I have to let go and let her fly on her own. Luckily I have 3 more kids to pester about all their stuff before I let them fly on their own.
My son now also attends college with her. He choose the same school and now starts his freshman year, so the story continues but the cast is changing, in at least this setting....
So I have now committed to writing a little each week or two about just something as it related to the kids and the family. Its still called "college as seen through the eyes of a parent" but it really is just "as seen through the eyes of a parent"
